This policy explains what cookies are, which ones this site uses, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences — the contents of your basket, your language, whether you are logged in — over a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them on every page.
The Categories We Use
| Category | What it does | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps your basket, session and login working; remembers your cookie choice; supports checkout and payment security. | Cannot be switched off — the site will not function without them. |
| Functional | Remembers preferences such as your language and currency, so the site behaves the way you set it. | Set only after you accept. |
| Analytics | Tells us which pages and products are viewed, where visitors arrive from, and where they leave. Data is aggregated. | Set only after you accept. |
| Marketing | Lets us and our advertising partners show relevant products elsewhere on the web, and measure whether an advert led to a visit. | Set only after you accept. |
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than by us — payment processing, postage and tracking, and analytics. Those providers have their own privacy and cookie notices, and we do not control the cookies they set. Where a third-party service is used, we aim to keep it to one that offers an appropriate level of data protection.
How to Control Cookies
- Use the consent banner on your first visit to accept or refuse non-essential categories.
- Change your choice at any time by clearing cookies for this site in your browser settings, then reloading the page.
- Block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings — the help section of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all explain how.
- Set your browser to warn you before accepting a cookie, if you would rather decide case by case.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the basket and the checkout. Blocking analytics and marketing cookies has no effect on your ability to order.
Do Not Track
We honour your cookie choices as recorded in our consent banner, and we honour browser-level opt-out signals where our tools support them. We do not sell personal information.
Changes to This Policy
If we add or remove a cookie category, we will update this page and renew the consent banner so that you can make a fresh choice.
